I was guessing he was probably a good one. Anyway, thank you so much for all of your suggestions! In the immortal words of Dino De Laurentiis: "Nobody cries when the shark dies..."

Beyond that, you can't go wrong with Charles Laughton in The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Conrad Veidt in The Man Who Laughs, Edith Scob in Eyes Without a Face, and Lon Chaney, Sr. in just about anything, but especially The Unknown, He Who Get's Slapped, and The Phantom of the Opera.

Nice blog you have here, by the way.Vulnavia Morbiushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04722740955194993451noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5869591875570698529.post-15259599328729250442012-01-03T13:39:59.127-05:002012-01-03T13:39:59.127-05:00Thanks so much, I'm glad you like my blog! :)Thanks so much, I'm glad you like my blog! :)Riannahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02944970449461089647noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5869591875570698529.post-6839218073111947912012-01-02T19:56:47.348-05:002012-01-02T19:56:47.348-05:00I love your blog! Yeah, Shirley's too much for me. Thank you for all the suggestions on monster movies, I haven't seen any of them, how shameful is that? I have a lot I plan to see now so thank you! :DRiannahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02944970449461089647noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5869591875570698529.post-78600686980339903892011-12-29T15:01:36.940-05:002011-12-29T15:01:36.940-05:00Love your answers! As for good monster movies, Bride of Frankenstein is ludicrous, insane, and about the best of the classic genre. 1932's The Mummy is also expertly done. And heck, all the old Universal Studio's monster films are worth seeing: the original Frankenstein, Dracula (though I do find it disappointedly stagy, and the only real acting highlights are Bela Lugosi and Dwight Frye--but boy, are they highlights!), and the silent Phantom of the Opera. Can't go wrong with those!Laurahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15532386898201721692noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5869591875570698529.post-50571326104878614262011-12-29T14:33:53.313-05:002011-12-29T14:33:53.313-05:00Great meme and answers, I love Marilyn though but ...Great meme and answers, I love Marilyn though but she can't be everyone's cup of tea. I should reply to this as well and yes if you created a meme I would do my best to participate because I've actually been looking for classic film related memes to do on my blog, so that would be awesome!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16773767990016796271noreply@blogger.com
